Lombardi: Criminals Not Guns Are Responsible For Crime
More Police Not Social Workers Needed To Combat Massive Crime Wave
Manhattan, IL/June 23, 2021 –Today, Jack Lombardi, Republican Congressional candidate for Illinois’ 16th Congressional District condemned Joe Biden’s address on America’s surging violent crime wave. Lombardi stated that Biden is wrong about the root cause of runaway crime. It is criminals taking advantage of the far left’s move to abolish police that are cause for this spiral of crime, not guns as Biden claimed. Lombardi stated the far left has done everything in its power to hinder law enforcement from doing its job, and cited Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot’s edict that police needed permission before giving chase to criminals. What we need to combat crime are more boots on the ground Lombardi said, rather than social workers. He also noted that progressive district attorneys across the nation refuse to prosecute criminals are sending the signal that there are no consequences for committing a crime. The United States is facing the worse crime increase since the 1960s and early 1970s and all the left offers as a solution is the same old failed policies – gun control and abolish the police he said. Lombardi pointed out that every week outdoes the previous week in violent crime around the nation and all the far left and Democratic leaders do is wring their hands and Biden’s address was more of the same.
“America is facing an unprecedented crime wave that increases weekly,” said Jack Lombardi. “And all that Joe Biden and the left do to solve it is blame Donald Trump, call for gun control, and hinder law enforcement from combatting violent crime. The leftist district attorneys in major cities won’t even prosecute lawbreakers giving them a get out of jail free card and license to commit more crimes.
“Criminals and the far-left agenda to abolish police, Mr. Biden, not guns are the causes for this crime wave,” continued Lombardi. “Democrats have made law enforcement the latest punching bag in the culture war and now we are all reaping the whirlwind. What we need now is more funding for police and strict prosecution of criminals. Criminals must pay the price for violent crime not lawful citizens.”
Lombardi’s story is that of an ordinary Chicagoan with exceptional zeal who broke the norm, building a better life with the resources he had at hand. Today, he is a successful businessman with vast experience in leading diverse teams to a common goal of success.
A natural entrepreneur, Lombardi earned his first money at age 8 selling soda on a neighborhood street corner. He started his first business, Lombardi Trucking, by age 22 and has never looked back. Currently, Lombardi owns Chicago’s premiere digital marketing company and runs multiple internet companies.
Born and bred on Chicago’s southwest side, Lombardi went to nearby St. Laurence High School and later attended Northwestern Business College. He is proud to be the husband of Sharon Lombardi and father of his son Jack III and daughter, Summer.
